Note: A copy of the text pages/exercises and the Journal #2 assignment sheet can be found in the appropriate folders in the Digital Files. Also, period 2 finished reading the "Battle With Humbaba" and "Enkidu's Dream" excerpts, pgs. 15-20 in the textbook. Period 4 read through page 16. Period 6 finished the "Battle With Humbaba" section. All classes created reading log responses in a two-column reading log. For the reading log, the first column titled "What I Read" includes a passage from the text. The second column titled "What I Think/Feel" includes a 2-3 sentence response to the passage in the first column. Your response should discuss an archetypal element of the text and the impact of the archetype on our understanding of character, setting, plot, or theme.
